Ivan Hlas Trio

Blues, rock ’n’ roll, urban ballads, and above all, great songs! Ivan Hlas Trio brings together three outstanding Czech musicians – singer-songwriter Ivan Hlas, guitarist Norbi Kovács, and cellist Jaroslav Olin Nejezchleba. Their music combines virtuoso playing and inventive acoustic arrangements with lyrics rich in poetry, humour, and a wry perspective on life.

Drawing on everything from earthy barroom blues and rock ’n’ roll to musical traditions from around the world, the trio blend these influences effortlessly, breathing new life into Hlas’s songs without losing their directness or distinctive charm. At Slunovrat, expect a performance where musical skill meets spontaneity, a light touch, and the sheer pleasure of playing together.
