Stud Ford is one of the most exciting voices in today’s Mississippi hill country blues scene. The grandson of the legendary T-Model Ford, he quite literally grew up immersed in the music, performing on stage from an early age. Today, he carries that legacy forward in his own unmistakable style – raw, hypnotic, groove-driven blues that favours deep rhythms and infectious energy over flashy guitar solos.

He comes to Opava as part of the Blues Alive Tour 2026, presented in partnership with the Blues Alive Festival, performing as a duo with his drummer. Expect an electrifying set rooted in the spirit of the American South – authentic, uncompromising, and alive with the power of a tradition that continues to evolve.
